First place..

A view from the near by hill

The rope bridge across the water fall

The first place i would like to put pictures of is GOKAK FALLS. Its a seasonal water fall. Yes its best to visit the place in rainy season. The other details of its location and reaching there can be got from wikipedia here are the links.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gokak
Gokak falls is a few kilometres away from gokak up on a hill its a nice view you have on the way. Up on the hill is the Gokak mill which ones the rope bridge across the water fall and also a power station. The water is fall is famous because you can go very near the fall without any significant risk. the roaring waters heading towards the wall will lift your spirits high and make you feel on top of the view. there are good views on both the sides of the rope bridge. you get great pineapple, corn and many other chat stuff at the view point. It will make an awesome family experience to visit this place. go ahead enjoy!!

Why i made this blog??

Where to go? what is there to see and enjoy? This is the first question people ask when its a holiday. So i thought i should answer this question with a lot of choices and vibrant pictures of the splendid places karnataka has. so please help me in this quest by sending beautiful pics of places you have visited to with relevant details. please donot copy images from other websites as i cannot post them here since it violates the copyright laws. presently i am putting images of places i have visited with little information about them. you have also visited the place and want to describe your visit you are free to comment on this page. please help the cause and send beautiful photgraphs to shishirmk@zapak.com thank you.
